In GIMSOC, collaboration stands as a cornerstone to grow. With an alliance with organizations who share our idea of global exposure, and clinical based learning, we try to give our members opportunities catering to their interests and their future aspirations as well. We are honored and humbled to be associated with these affiliates whose vision and scope cut across geographies and disciplines.
Project IMG
An international network established by and for foreign medical graduates, Project IMG gives students the empowerment to embark on the path to U.S. medical residency. From USMLE preparation to clinical rotation placement, this project promotes cooperation, peer learning, and equitable access to medical education.
Through this collaboration, members of GIMSOC have an opportunity to receive increased access to a wider selection of resources that allow them to pursue professional aspirations beyond Georgia.
Project IMG Unity
IMG Unity Collective is a global network of medical students and graduates dedicated to ensuring vulnerable patients have access to essential healthcare. Through our collaboration, GIMSOC members can engage in global health initiatives, gain hands-on experience, and advocate for underserved communities. Stay tuned for our Care Kit Package Program, empowering students to make a real impact in vulnerable communities across Georgia while growing into compassionate, socially responsible doctors. Together, we keep medicine a promise of dignity, access, and shared responsibility.
Best Aid Reviews' association with GIMSOC adds to our academic firepower by offering members intelligent, visual-based ways to consume needed content and learn smarter, not harder.
NVU Blood Bank
As the first non-commercial, university-operated blood bank in Georgia, NVU Blood Bank is a pillar of public health and social responsibility. In collaboration with GIMSOC, the blood bank provides valuable volunteer experience for medical students and a critical function in saving lives.
It is a place where hands-on advocacy, education, and medical service can be exercised in the community and demonstrates our shared commitment to compassion in medicine.
